tolls
There is a difference between express lane tolls and bridge tolls. Can you separate the two when it comes to avoiding tolls. If you set it to avoid tolls, it will avoid both express lane and bridge tolls. If you need to drive across a bridge, it will send you many, many miles around to avoid the bridge toll, when you really only want to avoid the express lane tolls.

When entering a route that has HOV lanes, it would be helpful if Waze asked how many occupants are in the vehicle. 1, 2, 3+ And utilize the HOV lane where applicable.
3 votesThank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze offers HOV routing for taxis. To change your vehicle type go to Settings > Vehicle type. There are currently no plans to add more HOV options.

Display next instuction after the current one
It would be really handy if you could always show the turn instruction after the current on screen instruction. It will help with early lane positioning. Ideally including the lane that you need to be in.

voice direction is confusing when changing lanes
Sometimes i turn in the wrong street cause the change lane and the turn directions are identical.
1 voteThanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

Add an option where you can choose whether you will be using a carpool lane so that
Add an option where you can choose whether you will be using a carpool lane so that traffic and ETA data are more accurate. If many members in a given area are using carpool lanes, they will bring the average speed up and ETA will be sooner than actual. There are times where my ETA has increased by 30 minutes on a 1 hour drive.

Differentiate between HOV(High Occupancy Vehicle) and an HOT (High Occupancy Toll) lanes.
In metropolitan Atlanta, the Georgia D.O.T. has been transforming HOV lanes to HOT Toll lanes, which will cause you to face a traffic ticket in the mail for $150, if you do not have a valid Georgia Peach (Toll paying) Pass, or a similar pass from select other states. The State of Georgia has plans to expand the program in other metropolitan regions as well as other freeways in the Atlanta region. The ability to alert drivers that the HOV Lane ends and a TOLL Lane is replacing it ahead is an important piece of information.

Lane shift - it could also be a sign, because it is very misleading that you cannot signal a shift, only a lane closure. There is a huge difference between the two, since in a lane closure the lane is closed, in a shift the lane is not, it is just diverted. In this case, we cannot talk about a closure, but since there is no other option, this is reported incorrectly, thereby giving false information.1 vote -

Overtaking
Overtaking lanes in Australia is a must. We have single lane highways and 3 trailer trucks to overtake, this will save so many accidents. It doesn’t need to be built into the map just as a button for the crowd to add so we know there is an overtaking lane coming up, we will wait before passing on dodgy roads filled with Kangaroos!

Traffic light free and alternate lane traverse free turning feature with extra option enabling lane traverse turnings at non-signal turns
There should be features that allow users to opt for routes that are free of traffic lights and also free of having to either make left handed turns in America and other American driving nations or free of right turns in Australia , UK and other countries with British driving system with options to enable those turnings where signals aren't present . Or in other words , traffic lights and left turn free American driving routes and traffic lights and right turn free Australian driving routes . Both with options to enable left turns in America or right turns in…

Closures
I would like Waze to alert closures as well, not just lane closures.

Allow a start/stop feature for hazzards/lane restrictions, traffic jams, etc.
When traveling through a construction area allow a start/stop point so others can choose atl. routes. This can also be for speed reductions, accident sites, etc.

Prior to freeway off ramp indicate if it will be a left or rignt at the end of the off ramp.
If prior to entering a freeway off ramp if Waze would indicate which off ramp lane you needed to be in it would better prepare you for the exit. Currently Waze will indicate if it is to be a left or right turn at the end of the off ramp but if you are in the wrong lane, you might not be able to get into the proper lane at that point.

Record traffic warnings
How about the option to record our warnings? "There's a large piece of wood in the center lane." "There's an eighteen-wheeler on the right shoulder." "Everyone has to move to the left lane to go around construction."
Then, Waze would notify us - "Hazard reported one-half mile ahead - [playback recorded warning]."
Two things would be accomplished - the warning would be very specific, and it would require less attention diverted from driving.6 votes -
Look both ways when a road ends at a two-way road and you turn right
When driving on a road that ends in a two-lane road and you want to turn right, you usually only look to the left to see if a vehicle is approaching.
I think that in these cases, Waze should give a voice warning to check visually in both directions.
It may happen that on the right side a vehicle is overtaking another and the driver is doing so on the opposite lane, the lane you intend to enter.
The danger can increase if visibility is poor due to vegetation or other objects.6 votes -
Which Side of the Road
It would be nice if on our drive at with .5 miles or .2 miles you would notify us which side of the road the business (address) is on. We have many 2/3 and 4 lane roads and we can't get in the proper lane for the turn if we don't know which side of the road the address is on.

Consolidate multiple construction and lane closure reports on freeways
Driving on a freeway or highway with ongoing construction can result in repeat notifications as close a 8/10ths of a mile apart (on my last trip). When the construction closure is over 10 miles long, this is not helpful.
My suggestion is to consolidate all reports within 3 miles of each other and provide a single notice, ideally with an estimate of the length of the closure.2 votes -
Malaysian Accent for Malaysian Roads Please
Why not use Malaysian voices for Waze in Malaysia? Right now the female voice option I choose for Malaysia pronounces Jalan Sultan Ismail as "Juh-lane Sull Tonne Izz Mail" and it annoys me.

Police traveling in unmarked cars
Add a feature for police traveling in unmarked cars in your lane. To warn wazers ahead of you within a certain speed radius. Not sure if that’s doable.
