Audio Alert Speed Cameras
I use Waze in Cairo Egypt .. I it will be very helpful to make an audio alert for the speed camera before it by 500 Mt.
Now it shows a message on the screen but while driving, I am not always looking at my mobile screen. please update >> regards3 votes -

Voice detection for non english/german destinations is UNUSABLE in the middle-EU
Voice detection - especially when entering new destination is UNUSABLE for non english addresses, so for most of the EU, but especially in non german countries.
Allow to use Gemini / chatGPT or other AI tool for VOICE detection! It's a must!
Or at least allow the passenger to enter the address from the touchscreen!1 vote -

Bring back the “fastest route”, “add speed cameras”
Fastest route was removed from the app. Also at 3361 third avenue in the Bronx NY there is no camera icon for an installed camera in front of the addresses referenced in this message. Further we need a feature to add bus lane cameras, school zone start and end zone speed enforcement cameras

Speech recognition for Windows Mobile
Voice input works great for Android but is not currently available for Windows Mobile 6.5. Can this be added?

Potential Mobile Speed Trap Location Alert
There are many locations where Police Camera vans stay. These are often the same location, and often around bends so its too late once they see you. You should add to the map, just like with speed cameras, potential mobile speed trap. This would allow everyone to be alert at all times, then if the vans are there, Wazers can further report Police just as usual. This would prevent speeding earlier on rather than when someone finally reports the presence of police. For example, this could be done by adding a new icon e.g. a van symbol, with an…

Improve location detection upon startup
My biggest complaint is the Waze app is not very good about detecting which way my car is facing before I start driving. It makes it very difficult when trying to determine where to go - it takes a good 20 seconds or so after driving for Waze to realize the correct direction I'm pointing/going. Also, the directions may change once I start driving/once Wave realizes which way my vehicle is facing.

Quit Calling my Camera Enforced School Zone a "SPEED TRAP"
Now Waze calls my Camera Enforced School Zone a "SPEED TRAP". If this is not changed immediately I will take Legal Action against WAZE. I am the Chief of Police in Fairmount, GA our Cameras are for a School Zone active only while children are on campus. We don't want the Negativity by you calling it a Speed Trap.

Changing Destination on Phone While Connected to Android Auto
I want to change my destination on my phone while it's connected to my car through Android Auto, but I can’t type directly on the car screen. Currently, I have to unplug the cable to change the destination on my phone, and then plug it back in to reconnect to the car.

Waze on Android head unit: Send ETA by SMS or instant message via connected phone
I have an Android-based head unit. It gets an internet connection from mobile data via Wifi tethering to my phone. It is also paired to my phone via bluetooth.
I'd like to send my ETA on an SMS text to a phone contact on my connected phone, as opposed to email through the tethere internet connection.
It would be good to see integration with other messaging & social media services, i.e. Whatsapp, Google Hangouts and Facebook.Messenger, for the purposes to sending ETA, or linking a tracking beacon.

WE NEED HELP IN NY !!! They have now instituted a Camera Ticket System on the School Buses Like Red Light Cameras! Sometimes you can't even see the School Buses that are Parallel to you and they will charge $250-$275 per ticket. PLEASE HELP QUICKLY ! I think All WAZE users rely on you guys dearly to help us everyday!

Following the update of my Apple phone 12 Pr Max to IOS 16, currently 16.1 there is considerable battery drain and overheating of the phone
Eversince I updated my iphone 12 pro max to IOS is whenever I use Apple Carplay and especially WAZE the phone overheats significantly in a very short timespan and also the battery drops dramatically in no time.
Is Waze aware of this problem ? Are they doing something to fix it.
The same issue does not occur when I use other navigation software’s in Apple Carplay.Please fix it as I can not continue using Waze with such dramatic battery use and overheating of the phone!

Please fix the CarPlay issues,
Please fix the CarPlay issues. Directional information covers the speed limit, move the speed limit to the top left? Speed camera notifications cover too much screen, make these transparent? Show the average speed camera distance like on the mobile version of the app. After turning a corner the map takes too long to realise you’ve turned meaning you scan easily miss your next turn if it’s close after.

Audible warning for speed cameras even if you're under the speed limit
If you're going under the speed limit you don't get an audible warning for a speed camera. If the camera is after a limit change you may be under the limit when approaching but you can then accelerate above the limit and have no warning.

Use front-facing camera to do things (if available)
I position my iPhone in a cradle that attaches to the windscreen, and I think that I'm not alone. This camera has a pretty unobstructed view of the road ahead, which Waze could use to produce awesomeness! I can immediately think of a number of cool things that you could do with this, depending on how much image processing you want to do. Here are some user stories for you :)

Add warnings for PCN camera traps (mainly London)
Like speed cameras, add PCN cameras (Moving Traffic Cameras) to Waze warnings please!!
Over lockdown there've been several strange changes made to how traffic is allowed to use certain roads in London.
Camera traps have sprung up all over the place to catch people out. These cameras give fines for using roads in ways which used to be totally acceptable before lockdown. Issuing £65+ fines for using a roads in what is suddenly the wrong direction, end to enter certain roads from, time of day, parking and so on.None of these changes in these roads…

Someone has typo'd and put my phone number into your system, and am getting "verification codes" by text and call. Need an option to opt out.
