Comments on PURs
It would be nice to have a comment section on a PUR, especially for pictures. It would allow the editors to give a reason why the picture or update is being rejected. So maybe the next time they would try to take a better picture that did not include, faces, license plates, etc. I think this would help the community be more aware of what we as editors can accept. I think being able to tell them the reasons instead of just rejecting it would help more, due to the fact users my be confused or upset that their …

GPS coordinates
It would be great to have a GPS dashboard panel, displaying in the same screen:
- Longitude, Latitude & Elevation
- Velocity
- GPS status (fixed, not fixed, ...)
- Signal's strength

Have the ability to upload pictures of accidents to help victims of hit and runs.
When a wazer witnesses an accident we should have an icon to upload a picture, location and time of the incident. If someone is a victim of a hit and run they will have an opportunity to find the person responsible. Plates can be blurred like google maps but accessible by law enforcement if an incident is reported.

speed cameras
The alert about speed cameras warns about cameras that are positioned on the same direction the car drives, which is counterproductive.It should warn about cameras that are placed on the opposite direction, because these cameras are the ones that are relevant , they take the picture.

Needs PIP mode, saved/offline maps, and no Cancel/Shutdown
Waze is honestly better than Google Maps.
But with a few improvements, it can become the perfect navigation app:PIP (Picture-in-Picture) mode:
When I minimize the app, the map should stay visible in a small floating window. Right now it disappears during multitasking, which is inconvenient.Saved / Offline Maps:
There should be an option to download and save maps for your region. This is very helpful in low-signal areas.Back button behaviour:

App freezes when attempting to take picture of traffic condition.
There’s a serious bug in the app. Whenever I attempt to take a photo of a traffic condition, the entire app freezes. Please fix this bug.

It would be nice if I could just take a picture of the sign with petrol prices, then the Waze app updated petrol prices automatically

Pictures we take and from within Waze and post to Waze should also store in our Smartphone Photos.
I recently drove past a car engulfed in flames, shot it and posted to the Waze community as a Hazard. The picture was very striking and I wanted to send it to my brother later and assumed it would be in my iPhone Photos, but it wasn't. I assume then pix taken from inside Waze don't store on our phones? If not a missed setting on my part, I would highly request that we get to keep the photos we shoot while within Waze. Perhaps this should be a Setting. I wouldn't ask the user each time a picture is…

Custom vehicle
All want different vehicles, is it possible to either take picture of your vehicle or find on net and upload to waze. Then have waze turn it into your vehicle icon vs. The few you have like batman joker etc..
It would make this alot more personal, vs just adding vehicle in setting, which I belive is new.

For Roadkill, Use a Deer head Icon with X's on his eyes
It would be great if you could have a picture of an animal like a deer (everywhere in Ohio) with X's on his eyes indicating he is dead. Funny too.

geotagged photo's
Add a function to take geotagged photo's and show them on the map. This way you can take a picture of a street sign, and later enter the street name in cartouche without having to look it up on another map

OCR Fuel/Gas price board
Stopping to record the current price of gas is a pain.
Why not leverage of Googles powerful image recognition engine and allow users to quickly grab a picture of the fuel/gas price board out the front of stations.6 votes -
Use the location where a place's photo is taken rather than the location when the Place tool is selected.
Many reporters don't understand that the location of a new place is specified when they start the place tool. As a result, they start place early so that they can be ready to take the picture when they get to the actual location.
Using the location where the picture is taken is actually more intuitive as the reporter is known to be at, or near, the location at that time.

Section Control
In a lot of European countries you have speed-control via section-control, means:
the avgerage speed is measured of a certain distance by taking picture of car when entering and leaving the measuring section.
Unfortunatly currently you can not warn other users of such controls.
On contrary, such controls are only posted as stationary speed-control when entering, which is very misleading5 votes -
Make list of "suggested eta recipients" editable
Every time I go anywhere using Waze it "helpfully" pops up a picture of ONE person: my ex (and the option to add others). The only person I've ever sent an eta to is my ex, so I guess I'm just doomed to see their contact pic every time I drive?

Fix bugs
- Does not send ETA (twice sent EAT to my wife, she never received it).
- Freezes when trying to take picture of the destination place.

Waze widget
Today for the firsrt time i installed the waze widget. I liked but it seemed very simple. I think that the ETA shown was if I took TOLL roads bit when I touched "Drive" it took me to the non-TOLL road (which was the one I wanted but then the ETA was much longer) So I had one Idea but I need to show it. How can attach a picture to this post? But in other words it would nice to have the ETAs for TOLL roads and non-TOLL roads. Let me know if i can send a picture.…
