Second and third lane early warnings
Second and third lane early warnings. Through many of my travels in south america i often have to pass busses, trucks or slow cars. Many times i had to pass them on a straight with high visibility, but sometimes i had to pass or a short straight. Many of those times i'd just pass them and a second or third lane would open after a hill or very short time. All of those times that this happened, i always had the same thought "i wish Waze had an early warning of a second and third lane for passing heavy and…

passing lanes on single lane roads - wouldn't be great if one could get informed how long the incoming passing lane is?
Passing lanes - always a guessing game how long they are - the roads sign is there, and tell you that is coming ahead, but sometimes you have a very short one, meaning you won't be able to pass if you are three cars behind. Would be a good hint to all drivers, as slow down to let pass, or get ready to do a quick passing. - So once the road sign saying passing lane 1 mile ahead - you could tap on screen and see it's length too or set app to warn you if shorter tan…

Public transport lane indicator
By indicating the lanes on the road when driving on, for example, 4 lanes, there is no way to inform the user that one or more lanes are intended only for public transport.
It would be great to introduce a special public transport icon for such lanes.
This is especially true for straight stripes.7 votes -
Adding report options "Oil Trace" and "Lane Closed" for Germany
I've seen that in Hungary there's the option to report at least a Closed Lane. This is also relevant for Germany. For example a closed lane on a relatively well known route of a driver could be dangerous. He's expecting a certain amount of lanes but doesn't know the newest conditions on road.
So please enable this option for drivers in Germany. The "Oil Trace" report could be helpful as well. Often such reports are mentioned in the radio. It would be a step forward to more safety in Germany and the rest of the world to add…

Put a bike lane in the Lincoln and Holland tunnels
https://twitter.com/waze/status/1091359985647394816
Nobody can walk into NYC from Jersey City/Hoboken. You need to drive a vehicle or take a bus. Seems really tone def. I'm just following instructions from your twitter account. Would love for you to work with the port authority of new york / new jersey to get a bike lane or some way for pedestrians to walk under the tunnel.

Add lane guides for joining highways
When joining a highway it would be useful to know whether it's lane merge or addition, i.e. whether giving way is needed or not

Colour code the best lane options for upcoming turns
It would be fantastic if the lanes could be colour coded for upcoming turns to get you into the best lane possible. Example is if you are a long way from the turn, have all the lanes in Green. Then as you get closer to the intersection, colour the lanes next to your optimal turning lane in Orange and all other lanes in Red. This would then encourage you to get into the correct lane in preparation for your turn well in advance. This would help when you are in heavily congested traffic, multilane highways…

Please add lane guidance to the Heads up display in carplay
Please add lane guidance to the Heads up display in carplay. If we have to look at main screen for lane guidance, it makes the heads up useless, because many cars have heads up display as the main source of navigation for driver.

Send lane INTERDICTION alert through the vehicle's multimedia.
Hello, I believe that the following idea is an improvement and it is not a possible bug solution, because the functionality would have been tested before the release of the version.
When trying to send a lane interdiction alert through the vehicle's multimedia, the option does not appear, just using the cell phone without mirroring, I am using a cell phone with an IOS operating system, but the same behavior is seen with cell phones with an Android operating system.
Particularly, I don't walk with my cell phone in hand while driving, nor would I like to stop the vehicle…

Give the option to say I entered the express lane or not
Every morning Waze says to use the express lane. I usually don’t need to. In the afternoon I am not told to use the express lane. I almost always need to. If I could say when I entered it or not Waze could get better data to suggest when I will need the express lane

A way to take a picture of slow left lane drivers
Waze users take pictures of slow left-hand lane drivers. Then multiple pictures of the same slow vehicle in the left lane would notify law enforcement.

Blocked Lane achievement points for reports and likes
The Blocked Lane report is a terrific addition to reports. However, Waze users do not get any credit in Achievements for seen or likes as they do on other reports. This disincentivizes users from using the feature. I hope Waze will allow users to collect points for reporting a blocked lane as they do on all other reports.

Bring back opposite lane reporting
Why on earth was opposite direction reporting removed? I could get quite sarcastic right now, but it's too early..

Identify when passing is allowed on two lane roads
Two lane roads, usually rural, have designated areas where it is legal to pass. It would be very helpful to have those identified as you approach so you know you will have an opportunity to pass as it approaches. Many times people tailgate until reaching one and this could prevent that activity and make it safer to pass in general.

"Change of Lane" Transparent Buttons while navigating.
Sometimes while navigating, Waze suggests to change from the central lanes, to the low speed lanes, and sometimes we don't follow that suggestion (for different reasons) but still Waze thinks we did, therefore if we send a report then it would be in the wrong lane.
I suggest to place 2 transparent buttons (left and right) for a quick change of lane according in the direction we are travelling, this would be also helpful if we are using a "first level" road when Waze things we are on the "second level".
1 voteThanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

Improved lane guidance for consecutive intersections
An example is three consecutive intersections coming with very short distance (e.g. https://www.waze.com/en/live-map/directions?latlng=56.923461945338325%2C24.165415763854984 going from Krasta Iela to P (Akropole) it's important to stay in the correct lane in all three intersections. Otherwise, you will either end up doing a U-turn, continue towards Salaspils or end up on Slavu Iela towards Dreilini.

You sent me into bus lane
In Tel Aviv, Waze directed me to use a bus lane and I got a 500 shekel fine. This is not the 1st time.
Please contact me & compensate me for the fine.
