Radar
that the application has the option to warn radars and traffic lights with radars always. speed independent

Holiday lights
People can nominate and submit pictures of their house decorated with holiday lights (can be Halloween, Christmas, Hanukkah, etc). Then when someone uses Waze to drive they can chose to drive a way that takes them through the house holiday lights or take a route just to look at Christmas lights. I think people would love this!

More direct routes for emergency response services and fire hydrant locations.
Hi, I propose you look into a toggle option for navigation for emergency services organizations that completely ignores traffic regulations, stop signs traffic lights etc..
Emergency services need to take the fastest route while ignoring speed limits, traffic lights & signs.
It would be very helpful to have a navigation that made more direct routes that completely disregard these things and give you the absolute fastest route.
Also, it would be awesome if there could also be a toggle option to show fire hydrant icons / locations for firefighters.4 votes -
Traffic fixer/ Auto Traffic Control
Use the wazer data to "improve" traffic scenarios. Like serving as air traffic control, waze could recommend speed to reduce the stop and go of traffic and "fix" one of the causes of traffic from driving habits. Would prob need to expand functionality to identify travel lane .. But with the number wazers around it could have huge impact

"Estimated TIME in Traffic Jam NN-minutes" message should be extended with jam distance, like "Estimated TIME in Traffic Jam 10 minutes in 3 kilometers"

Traffic alerts
I think I will be a good idea for the app to have traffic alerts. Not just saying traffic reported ahead. Based on the speed limit the app to tell you to slow down because of traffic. It will be extremely useful on highways. For example, a kilometer ahead to display/announce such warning and recommendation to slow down. Therefore, drivers will not have to stop abruptly and accidents might be prevented.

"Easy drive" mode
define the navigation logic so that it will skip narrow streets, traffic lights, stop signes, any road when the average speed is under 40 km/h etc. Allow for a 20% longer ride, but get me home fresh and not drained...

Waze is very good tool, however i would like to see other hazards listed.
One is traffic caused by the traffic being back uped at exits because of congestion overflowing onto the road your on. Another is traffic caused when traffic lights are off on intersection.

Traffic cleared button
I suggest you guys to add a traffic clear button, cause sometimes i have noticed that even if the actual route is clear, waze will show standstill traffic because of previous outdated reports.

Warn about slowing traffic ahead
Please add a feature to warn of s lowing traffic ahead.
When driving on the freeway, waze knows where we’re going, if the traffic is much slower ahead, a warning about slowing traffic would be very helpful and provide greater safety.

Red light timer
I propose a button that can be toggled to pop up when on surface streets, it is a simple light that you tap once to turn red, and again to turn back to green. The idea is you would press it when you see the light change, which is not necessarily when you stop or go. What this would do is help Waze better understand how long in various traffic scenarios a red light will take to get through. Tracking stop signs and stop lights
In addition to "Difficult intersection" it would be very handy for two features:
1) Waze's map to record if there are stop signs (2, 4 way), and lights at an intersection. This would (hopefully) include separate turn signals; some intersections are VERY difficult to turn left at even with a light, for example.2) A setting for navigation (in the app) for "Avoid unguarded turns/intersections". This would then allow a driver to NOT have to turn left across 6 lanes of traffic, for example, as the app would know there was no light at that crossing (or even going…

Zoom out when you are at a traffic light to turn
I like to see an improved zoom out of the map when you are at a traffic light to turn left or right.
Now you only see on the navigation map just a few meters ahead.
I want to see a bit more what's coming up next after the turn.The big advantage of Waze is to see the directions far ahead, but only not when you standing still and need to make a 90 degrees turn after a traffic light.
This is for me my biggest feature request and part which need to be improved in the (Android) app.

Alert "Traffic ahead" not helping...
The voice alert "Traffic ahead" should be hear at least 5 seconds before the traffic. Otherwise it misses the point - I can see the traffic by myself...

Prevent speed camera warning from coming up after dismissing notification {x} number of times.
If you use Waze for your daily commute, you pass the same speed cameras and traffic lights every day. I would suggest that if you dismiss the speed camera or traffic light warning popup {x} number of times (where {x} is a preset default, or user configurable) then Waze knows you know there is a speed camera there and will prevent the popup. Too many popups mean you naturally learn to ignore them.

Enable drawing polygon areas where Closures cannot be applied
Use-case:
There is a bridge under construction where only one direction is open at a time, controlled by traffic lights. Currently, Waze often shows it as closed, even though cars are just waiting for the light to change.
Proposal:
Add a feature in WME to draw a polygon-shaped area where closures cannot be applied — useful for cases like temporary one-lane bridges with traffic lights, where Waze should display a queue instead of a closure.

Traffic Simulation For Wazers To Work Together To Improve Traffic
Make a simulation to see what traffic would be like if either everybody abided by the laws OR people worked together to go a "Waze assisted" speed to improve traffic flow for others (for instance, speed up or slow down according to upcoming traffic information to help maintain traffic flow together). It could also tell you how many people/wazers you would affect, positively, from the actions you take.
