Identify drunk driver.
Tonight I clearly saw a person who was driving drunk and was driving erraticly, swerving, etc. Identifying this for police officers would be huge so that action can be taken to get these driver's - whatever the situation (drunk or otherwise) to keep other drivers safe.

To add the Audible App to the listening options while driving.

I will like to make a suggestion:
Would it be possible to add the Audible App, to the options to listen while driving?
Hope you guys can add it to the options we already have, it will make me love more your driving app.

Drop a pin (as you're driving)
I want the option to drop a pin as I'm driving, which is then saved on my map. The pin would be saved at the location I'm at whenever I click the 'pin' button.
Then I can edit these pins by name, color, etc. Maybe even the navigation can tell me when I'm close to a pin.

Disable all iPhone notifications while using waze to drive, iPhone notifications are distracting while driving and the driver is sometimes forced to remove the iPhone notifications while they are driving which is very unsafe

Allow the use of bluetooth controls while Waze is in the foreground.
When Waze is running in the foreground, my bluetooth controls don't work. So I have to do a whole bunch of on-screen gymnastics just to skip to the next track in my queue. This is potentially dangerous while driving. I should be able to use the button on my steering wheel. (It works fine when Waze isn't running.)

KITT from Knight Rider voice pack
So, it'd be nice to have a "Customize your drive" option that is all Knight Rider...KITT as the voice; KITT as the car icon on the map; And maybe a Knight Rider-y design, to look like KITT's voice modulator or part of the dashboard. Something cool like that...If this is not achievable, at least just the voice would be cool. And it would HAVE to be William Daniels. Either re-record his voice or use the ones he recorded for the Mio Knight Rider GPS back in like 2008. I'm not sure if it would be possible to use those…

Improve waze when traffic is lighter than usual
Hi, It seems that the algorithm is mainly based on statistics of traffic. I can explain: August 15th was a day off in France and of course the traffic was very very light But when using Waze that day, the time and routes poposed by Waze were fully erroneous and really not usable at all! Sytadin.fr was enough that day to decide where to drive...
This kind of issueof course occurs for all holidays, like during summer or Christmas holidays.
Is there a way to improve that?

Dual voice directions
Sheldon from Big Bang Theory to voice directions, Rajeesh to give warnings. It would be kinda fun to have 2 voices while driving.

Routing server timeouts - retry in the background
Sometimes everyone of us experiences routing server timeouts with an Oops/OK prompt. Then one needs to reclick the destination while driving, which is disturbing. Perhaps the client could have an option to retry a couple of times in the background, and then notify if all retries failed?

Routes via specific road
Plan or change a route to use a specific road ie. a specific interstate road, state road, local road, so the route will go specifically how you want to drive it. Many times the suggested routes are not the best. One knows this after having driven a certain route multiple times. Waze does not know this.

Allow "Map Problem" UR reporting using the 'Talk to report' feature to assist user to leave a UR while driving.
Currently the 'Talk to report' feature allows for reporting road hazards but does not allow for reporting 'Map Problems' such as 'incorrect speed limit' or 'no u-turn allowed.'
As a volunteer map editor, if I could tap the report button and say, "Drop UR here for ... " to open a UR with the UR type listed as 'Voice report' and the UR comment pre-filled with the voice to text input from the report, then I would be able to fix 90% more of the map problems that I notice while driving every day.11 votes -
speed cameras
The alert about speed cameras warns about cameras that are positioned on the same direction the car drives, which is counterproductive.It should warn about cameras that are placed on the opposite direction, because these cameras are the ones that are relevant , they take the picture.

Quick report buttons
It would be a good idea to place some (2??) customizable quick report buttons on the main Map/interface; in such way we can report speed traps/ dangers/ police while we are driving with a single touch (or double to exclude unintended reports)!
There are too many menu/options to make a report... the only way to put them live is to stop the car and going trough a jungle of options... ( :geek: and I'm used to that! I'm an android user)

A button for reporting irrelevant in a popup when selecting something directly on map
When there is reported something like Police for example, that is not there anymore, there are only two things that can be done. Searching for the particular report in the list or adding a comment. Any of these are dangerous while driving.
When selecting a report icon on map, there is a popup where is a button for comment and a button for Thanks. It would be great to pur there a thumbs down button or something like that for reporting irrelevant easily.67 votesGreat news! Responding with thumbs up or down to a report is now available in Waze. Darker night mode
The night mode is way too bright and distracting while driving at night. We need the option for a black background rather than light grey. Google Maps night mode is excellent for this, follow that example!

Share Scoreboard Info on Facebook
None of the current sharing options for Facebook are appealing to me and the people I know using the client. We would love to share when we hit certain milestones and/or have weekly reports of our Waze Scoreboard progress. This allows us to share Waze with our Facebook friends without revealing our locations (road reports, directions to where we are going). I think sharing these achievements would be the quickest/most effective way to promote Waze on Facebook
