unable to unsubscribe from Waze carpool rider
In my google payment I seem to have a subscription to "Waze carpool rider" that I must of setup a few years ago.
I never used it, but it's active and connected to my active credit card which bothers me and I have no option to unsubscribe there.
Since this app is not existing anymore, I can't unsubscribe from within it and in the regular Waze app there's no option either
Can you contact me to pay the debt and close the account?

Road Improvements & Increase Highway Lanes, Carpools
How many times have you traveled on a highway with consistent heavy traffic with empty space on either side and wondered, why don't they just add more lanes? [CA-237 San Jose]. Then you wonder how you can get your voice heard because everyone else is most likely thinking the same thing?
Or you go onto a heavy on ramp and wonder, there's room for carpool, but everyone is waiting into a single line, why don't they add it?
Or there is a pothole, but who to contact to fix? Or road improvement, or on ramp, off ramp are dangerously…
1 voteThank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze offers HOV routing for taxis. To change your vehicle type go to Settings > Vehicle type. There are currently no plans to add more HOV options.

One-time/one-off trips like to the grocery store or for those with irregular work schedules
It would be awesome to make it convenient to use waze carpool for one-time or one-off trips like to go to the grocery store or for folks who don't have a regular commute at the same time of day every day or the same exact schedule every week.

Carpooling, picking friends up
I pick my friends up for college every morning and I would love Waze to offer a way to remember carpooling groups and requests. That way I would only have to open the app and let my "college group" know I'm leaving. Each one of them would receive my ETA to their location and would let them know (individually) when they have to go on the street to hop on the car. Similarly, they would also be able to check my location and ETA to their location at any time.

Calculating Meeting points
It would be great that if Waze can help the customers to advise a meeting place for people who are trying to carpool.
Basically, its taking 3 routes, if there are two participants are trying to get from their places to the same destination. .
1. Person 1's route from place A to place B.
2. Person 2's route from place C to place B.Then, Waze can calculate the most close meeting points fro Person 1 and Person 2 to meet and get to place B.

Match multiple riders to unlock HOV for everyone
In the San Francisco Bay Area, and many other municipalities, HOV lanes require 3 or more people to use. If Waze Rider had a feature that let you request an HOV carpool only, and would enable multiple matches so that you could get 3 people in the car (driver + 2 riders), everyone would save 45 minutes of traffic. That would be a huge incentive to get people to use the app, meaning easier and more matches and fewer cars on the road.
Add HOV matching!

carpooling
YO. can't find help on carpooling...using drastic measures here. when i go to set up carpooling, it keeps saying OOPS you've already used this number...THATS MY ONLY NUMBER. its for work personal and everything. how do i get around this?

Be able to configure profile to have HOV be the default routing choice.
I drive a motorcycle and always use HOV, so it would be a huge time saver to not always have to change the default route to be HOV. I imagine this would be a nice feature for the carpool folks as well.

Pickup pasanger will display levels
When Waze alerts me to pickup new passenger on the way (Waze carpool) it will be awesome to see how much drives the wazer done before meeting me. What is his level? So I would have some sort of confidence when picking up a total stranger.

add settings gear icon to Map
Currently the Settings is under Search. That is not an intuitive place for it. Which means users have to go searching for it. It should replace the Carpool button (which should be optional -- Not everyone carpools. In fact, if you poll your users you might find that only a small percentage of users do in fact car pool. Does everyone need to have button (which is a distraction) which they don't use always present?

I15 Fastrak - HOV Only
An option for Carpool Lanes that let you pay if single vehicle that shows if it is only HOV allowed. Example California I15 Fastrak you can pay and use the lane (with appropriate transponder) however, if it is marked HOV only then you are not allowed to use the lane unless 2+ however, by the time you go the optimal route that takes you the express lanes and if HOV only it would have been more expedient to go a back road. It would be nice to see if the Fastrak is HOV only or Toll Option.

fee
Partial charge rides for extremely late cancellations. If the driver is en route, a cancellation could cost 1/10th the fee. If the driver has arrived and is waiting, the charge might be 1/4th the expected fee.
This would go to discourage flaky riders, and encourage drivers who go out of their way to carpool.

Underlined text in app make it illegible- DANGEROUS
The underlined text in the waze app makes it illegible. The underline is too close to the text and breaks up under certain letters making them look like hieroglyphics.For instance under the "Drive A Carpool" navigation button the underline has become all kinds of dashes and dots. This makes if very dangerous to try read at a glance.

בקארפול, כדאי להוסיף אפשרות לנהג ולנוסע לומר לאפליקציה שבוצע האיסוף, אפילו שזה לא קרה בדיוק במקום שהוגדר על ידי האפליקציה.
קרה לי פעמיים שלאחר הסכמה לנסיעת קארפול, הנוסע התקשר ותאמנו נקודת איסוף נוחה יותר לשנינו, לא רחוק מהנקודה שנקבעה על ידי האפליקציה, אבל לאחר האיסוף, לא יכולנו לומר לאפליקציה שבוצע האיסוף, והאפליקציה המשיכה לכוון אותי לנקודת האיסוף המקורית.1 voteThanks for your feedback. Punto de origen distante al real
Casi todos los USUARIOS ponen un punto de origen diferente al real porque ya se dieron cuenta que aunque el conductor lo actualice y estipule el correcto, ya tienen el costo más bajo.
Estoy considerando si continúo o no haciendo carpool porque no me agrada tener que recoger a 700 u 800 mts de diferencia del punto inicial. CUIDEN ESO
