   We plan to work on the 3d map in the near future. In the meantime, make sure you’ve got the latest version of Waze for all the latest features.  

3. Night Mode on all User Interface Elements

   When you're in Night Mode the map is, essentially, reversed in color; light things are dark, dark things are light. This is not true for any of the other user interface elements. Search, popups, reporting... all are very bright and very distracting. These interfaces should also be reversed, that is, dark grey backgrounds with light gray text.

5. Reativação de múltiplas caronas no Waze Carpool - taxa a partir do segundo usuário na mesma carona

   O Waze Carpool é uma ótima ideia no compartilhamento de caronas para redução de veículos no tráfego da cidade. Inicialmente poderíamos oferecer até 4 lugares no veículo e era bom pra todos. Minha sugestão é que, invés de limitar a carona a 1 pessoa, o Waze ter a taxa de serviço de 10% a partir da segunda carona no mesmo roteiro, para que tenha recursos na manutenção e aperfeiçoamento da ferramenta. Eu já fazia o Carpool da mesma forma que a ferramenta foi lançada e o único desafio era centralizar a colaboração, algo que o Waze Carpool complementou. Obrigado a todos por ouvir a comunidade!

7. Let users add speed camera locations

   I noticed with the newest update that you omitted letting users update red light/ speed camera locations from the app .. not sure- why but I’d like to petition you to please add it back ..... we here in NYC are getting bombarded with cameras that have nothing to do with driving safe ( not near schools - hospitals etc) they are just another way for this city to take money from its hard working overtaxed citizens..

   Speed camera and red light camera locations are only managed via Waze Map Editor.

8. Open up Waze Carpool for Trinidad and Tobago to reduce Traffic

   Big benefits to bring Carpool to Trinidad and Tobago to:-
   -- reduce the number of cars on the road during rush hour traffic (5am-9am) & (3pm-7pm). It is grid-lock at these times and can take up to 3 hours to get into and out of the capital (Port of Spain)
   -- car ownership is prohibitively expensive
   -- public transportation is risky
   -- public transportation is unreliable
   -- be environmentally conscious to the earth by being more economical moving people

   Help our little paradise to become better and more responsible. Help to bring Waze Carpool to Trinidad and Tobago

10. Make icons larger.

    New version icons for haz and police are so small you have to zoom in to a small map grid to see them. When there is a problem wreck slow traffic police ahead you miss you last turnoff due to being zoomed in so close. Please give option to zoom out and still see critical icons

    I often see shoulder construction which impacts highway speed, but can only report as either Vehicle stopped on shoulder or On Road > Construction

12. Notify if place is closed when starting a route

    Google Maps will notify you when you begin a route if the place you are going to is closed. Can this function be added to Waze?

14. Protest the removal of the police warning feature!

    The Sheriff's association is using the tired old excuse that the police warning feature in the Waze app "could be used by terrorists." That is a RIDICULOUS excuse! The truth is that they just don't want us having the ability to warn others about their friggin' speed traps, and they don't want us avoiding tickets! Terrorists my shiny white butt! They use all of their technology against us, and then when we have something to use against them they just don't like it. This feature in Waze is just the next step above radar detectors. Well we got those and they couldn't stop them, so they shouldn't be able to stop this feature. PROTEST THE REMOVAL OF THE POLICE WARNING FEATURE. We have the right to know where our public servants are, especially if they're out there setting up speed traps everywhere trying to rob us of our money! First they deliberately set speed limits on various streets to ridiculously low levels, then they direct the cops to set up speed traps knowing that people are going faster than the stupid limit they imposed. It's all a friggin' lie, a swindle specifically designed to rob us. Well I for one say screw that. TELL GOOGLE: I WANT MY POLICE FEATURE. Do it now, because they already agreed to meet with the Sheriff's Association!

15. GTalk integration

    When Im running WAZE, set my GT status to "DnD - Driving by waze". So friends will not chat to me during driving. It make me peace and tell others about new navigation - WAZE.

16. Toll roads

    If user could use settings to set something like "use toll roads if it shortens the time on the road for at least XX minutes" or "use toll road if fuel economy if more then $XX". Waze gives us multiple routs from A to B, sometimes it is better to use toll road, sometimes it cuts only about 5-6 minutes from the trip (or less) - still not the reason to use toll road, too expensive for this outcome. But sometimes toll road is way better, so we don't want to forbid waze to suggest us toll-roads. I think you have all the data and tools you need to make this feature possible.

17. New Functions for Linking External Provider Locations (Google Pin)

    In the past, the WME PIE Script provided a valuable feature that allowed us to directly view the exact location of a place on Google Maps overlaid on the Waze map. Recently, this functionality was removed at Waze's request.

    Most editors, including myself, consider this feature essential. Taking this opportunity, I suggest we request improvements to this linking tool. Below are some current issues and proposed solutions:

    Issue 1:
    Currently, WME allows the same CID to be added multiple times to the same place. This creates disorganization in the links.

    Solution 1:
    Block duplicate additions of the same place. In the search list, duplicate places could be highlighted with a different color to indicate they have already been added.

    Issue 2:
    Often, the first result in the list when adding a place is not the correct one. It could be a branch, located in a different neighborhood, city, or even state, leading to incorrect links and misdirecting drivers.

    Solution 2:
    Sort search results by proximity to the place's coordinates. Additionally, when hovering over a result, the map should visually highlight the exact location of the place (a feature previously available in PIE).

    Issue 3:
    WME allows the same Google place to be linked to multiple Waze places. It’s unclear how Waze determines the correct location for the end user, but this behavior should clearly be avoided.

    Solution 3:
    Prevent a Google place from being linked to more than one Waze place. In the search list, hovering over a linked Google place should indicate which Waze place it is already associated with.

    Additional Suggestion:
    Instead of relying solely on lists for links, WME could include a new layer that displays Google places directly on the map. To link a place, users would only need to click on it.

    Building on this idea, WME could allow updating the PIN of Google places directly within the tool, eliminating the need to open Google Maps to request PIN corrections.

20. Calculate ETA based on own average speed

    ETA calculation seems to be based on traffic conditions and general average speed. ETA calculation seems to be inaccurate when driving below the average speed of the road-segment as it keeps increasing while driving with constant (low) speed.

    It would be great if ETA calculation would also be accurate for vehicles going below average speeds (e.g. trucks in europe etc.)
