Add options for Siri shortcuts
Apple provides very basic shortcuts for directions, but it would be great to see more Siri Shortcuts from Waze itself, such as add stops
30 votesGreat news! The feature to do shortcuts using Siri is now available in Waze. Install the latest app version to check it out.

Siri Shortcuts for reporting - PLEASE
How about enabling Siri interaction so users can report things hands-free? “Siri, tell Waze to report police” or “Siri, tell Waze to report a stopped vehicle on the shoulder” would be a lot safer and easier while driving than fumbling with the phone or CarPlay UI. Please consider it.

Siri integration
Not sure if it's possible, but if there is an API to integrate with Siri to make navigation via voice commands that much easier.

As you may already know, Waze already allows voice commands.
Stay tuned for more feature updates on Waze’s social pages on Facebook and Instagram. -
Please add Siri Shortcuts support for hazard and police reporting in Waze on iOS
Please add Siri Shortcuts support for hazard and police reporting in Waze on iOS. This would allow users—especially those using CarPlay or driving hands-free—to report visual sightings safely and legally.
Apple Maps already supports this (“Hey Siri, report a speed check”), but Waze does not. Since Waze has the most active crowdsourcing community, this feature would significantly improve:
• Driver safety (hands-free hazard reporting)
• Community contribution (more real-time data from CarPlay users)
• Accessibility (voice input for users who can’t interact with the screen)Suggested implementation:
• Expose actions like “Report police (visible/hidden), crash, hazard” to Siri…13 votesGreat news! Siri is now available in Waze. Install the latest app version to check it out. You may also refer to this link to learn more about on how to use Siri shortcuts in Waze.

Reporting hazards with Siri using Apple CarPlay and Waze
Waze has possibility to use Siri shortcuts to navigate home, work or other destinations, as well as setting level of notifications. Please add possibility to report hazards like police, stopped vehicle on the road, road works, traffic etc. Using Siri, this would increase safety dramatically as a driver would not need to touch the screen for that multiple times.

Siri needs to be accessible!
Siri needs to be added URGENTLY!! so I can use it while driving instead of having to get out of the app. It’s very inconvenient and dangerous. This was mentioned by my fellow wazers all the way back in 2016 and it’s now 2022 and it still hasn’t been implemented. Come on Waze please make this happen ASAP can see many other people have been asking for it but nothing still done about it :( Can you please add it, I don’t just want shortcuts I want the full feature of Siri I only like iPhones.

Work with Apple to bring back Siri support for Waze
I found on a Google forum that you removed Siri support since Apple's new privacy policy "prohibits apps from collecting data about users' location without their consent." But arguments can be made that everything here is consensual. Please work to bring this back since it was a VERY useful feature for Car Play, in an era of dangerous touchscreen in our vehicles.

Shortcut to share ETA with same WhatsApp contact
I am using the option to send the ETA to the same WhatsApp contact 4-5 times a week and would like to have a shortcut to send the ETA to that WhatsApp contact directly.
Prevents to click share ETA > Other > WhatsApp > Select Contact > Send message.

Allow us to create customizable single press shortcut button for hazard reporting etc.
Too many steps to press while driving to report hazard etc can be dangerous. Why not allow users to create a customizable single press shortcut button for reporting car on shoulder or object on road instead of multiple steps of pressing buttons to get to the final issue. ie. not needing to press Hazard and then having to search the type of hazard in the small phone screen while driving. A single shortcut would be much easier. The most commonly used report for me is car on shoulder so why not just allow me to create that single shortcut.

customize Shortcut buttons on map screen
I think its better let users to add 3 shortcut buttons(floating or fix) to map screen like ( vehicle stoped, police or anything which user decide) then user can report by one click ,its fast and safe
It help to make fast reports , current situation is user have to make 2/ 3 steps to make report, on busy roads its very useful.8 votes -
Waze sleeping mode shortcut for ios shortcuts
Could you please add settings in the waze to stop using GPS on the background or ios shortcut for sleeping mode?
I am using apple shortcut to start waze when I connect my phone to the bluetooth headset in my car. I am using navigation everytime I enter my car and looking for any way how to close waze, or stop location services - sleeping mode or any other solution to stop draining my battery. In apple shorcuts is no way to close app. There are several waze shortcuts but all of them is related to navigate somewhere, add…3 votes -
External App Shortcut
It would be good if users could add a shortcut to another external app on the map screen. I have a Reversing Camera app which I occasionally need to open if parking in a difficult space, so being able to open this quickly from the map screen would be EXTREMELY useful!

It would ve nice to have an shortcut on apple to change car type quickly. As someone who drives a taxi and private cars and switch a lot. Maybe integrate it to apple shortcuts app or make it bluetooth connection dependable so it switches automatically when connected to a designated bluetooth source

Add Shortcut to "Vehicle Stopped On Side of Road"
I found a post from 2016 asking for this and it still hasn't been implemented!
There should be a shortcut on the navigation screen to send a "Vehicle Stopped on Shoulder" report with a single click.
This is, by far, the most common type of report and it currently requires FIVE button presses - all of them while looking down at the screen. A user-configurable single-click report button would be even better, but a "Vehicle Stopped On Shoulder" button would be a massive improvement to the current 5-clicks.
This has been suggested many, many times over the past many years,…

Create shortcut to go to location and alert user of journey (replicate Glympse functionality)
I have noticed that Waze now offers location sharing. I would like for it to completely replace my need for running Glympse in tandem. Ideally, if I could have a shortcut icon on my phone home screen that started navigation to "Home", and shared my location with my wife, this would be great. Many thanks.

Apple CarPlay shortcut for reporting a hazard
To report a hazard (ie pothole) requires 4 clicks. Would be great if there was a few one click shortcuts to report the most common hazards such as a pothole, police, and vehicle stopped on side of road. This would be much safer than fumbling around to report a pothole while driving.
