1. Turn off construction alert - bug and improvement

   There are other suggestions for this but some are old so I am also adding a new one. The audible alerts for costruction and not at all helpful and very annoying. I have selected to not show alerts for construction yet they show on the map. One zone near me has up to 5 different alerts from people throughout the construction zone, including a spot where the "End Road Work" sign is visible. I get it, people (hopefully passengers) are bored and play with the app. But the audible warnings interrupt my music or podcast and get very frustrating.

   The people from the help desk tell me that the audible alert is separate from the map display. That doesn't make sense to me and is contrary to what I've seen in other alerts/display items. If so, you can consider this both a request to fix the map display and to add a remove feature for the audible alert

2. Add Fuel Capacity to plan a fuel stop on highway trip

   Hi ! Is it possible to add a fuel capacity and average efficiency to the vehicule specifications part in order to « automatically » plan a stop on a highway tolled trip.
   It’s maybe a french exception but we enter a tolled highway by a entry point and pay when we leave the highway ; so a fuel stop outside the highway is difficult.

3. Speed limit posting in construction zones

   Under hazard construction add buttons to post reduced speed limit. This will affect navigation time. Sometimes it's for more than 10 miles

4. Countdown to next speed limit

   500m or less countdown to the next upcoming speed limit zone to prevent unnecessary braking on an unfamiliar road

5. Audio bug

   Hello,

   For several weeks and despite successive android auto / waze updates, the audio messages of the alerts are truncated.
   The last words are no longer pronounced completely.
   Example (in French): "vous arrivez dans une zone de contrôle" is pronounced "vous arrivez dans une zone de contr."
   The end of the word "contrôle" is missing.

7. Speed limit alert

   Hey Waze

   I have a proposal that I think would help with traffic safety. You have already created a speed alert. The problem today is that it only gives an alarm once in a speed zone. To get a new alarm, you need to enter a new speed zone. I thought it might be a good idea to make it possible for you to choose to get an alarm as long as you drive too fast, and that you can choose the alarm tone and volume. In android auto, the speedometer is placed on the right side of the screen, i.e. furthest from the driver when you turn to the left side. I wish you could decide for yourself whether you want the speedometer on the right or left side of the screen

8. Construction notification

   Construction alerts are far too annoying. This has been mentioned often by users here. The issue is that they are constantly alerting, making it hard to focus on driving when you have to keep clearing them. Often I will get up to 10 alerts for the same construction zone. This is ridiculous and not helpful.

   One solution would be to have construction zones auto populate rather than by users. I know this is done with other apps. The state DOT department ms provide regular notifications of construction in their state. These could be uploaded. Alternatively, just allow one notification per zone, not one from every driver that passes by.

   I have been using Waze since its beginning. However, I am considering switching to something else just because of this issue. I drive a lot and listen to podcasts. All of these construction alerts cause my podcast feed to stop playing.

9. Autovelox and Speed section control

   I have two suggestion about it...
   it would be so much greater if all the autovelox were reported every time also if we run under the limit, because if for any reason after the no ringtone pop up I go over I have no notification about the autovelox... it will be su much easier and safer if was introduced the possibility to enable an all time notification

   for the section control speed you must integrated a average speed in the section and improve the where the section start and finish

10. Bicycle navigation and bike routes for waze!!! Please!!

    Can you please add bicycle routes to the app and ways to avoid roads that go over a certain speed limit? The option to set your vehicle as a bicycle and find routes like that avoid high speed roads and roads that dont allow bikes conbined with all of the other great functions of the app will be fantastic...

    But since you don't have the feature so many bicyclists won't get to navigate with your app and get the same benefits that car drivers have... I really need a navigator for bikers that shows the speed limits of the roads and if they have biking lanes before you make the trip to plan your navigation.

    You should have the setting to make your vehile a bike and find bike routes, and to calculate how much time a trip will take you just have to ask the bicyclist to input their average biking speed and make your route estimates like that. Then through tracking their speed when you give them navigates your estimates can become even more accurate.

    It shouldn't just be for driving navigation but also for people who have to bike places and still need to find the fastest routes avoiding cops and traffic and all the other benefits that drivers have and bikers don't because the app can't calculate routes for us unless you please make an update taking my suggestions!!

11. Improve Gas Price input sanity checking. Use surrounding stations as a guide or verified prices. Errors checking too poor.

    Don't accept prices "too far" outside local average. Use verified prices as correct. Build database of known good gas price input users, accept their numbers as correct. I am seeing 25% errors from price listed to pump price in some cases. This should be simple to improve. Maybe give points to first user for input and points to subsequent user when price is verified.

12. Congestion Charge

    Can you please install a warning (like with speed cameras and speed limits) that shows up when you are approaching a congestion charge zone? Also, the option to colour the CCZ map in red so you are aware of what roads to avoid? Got bitten by this with a PCN and was only one small road just off the ring road! At least a ‘speed limit style warning’ will give you an ability to know to pay before being fined!

14. Allow routing to avoid defined zones on map (bad neighborhoods, long term construction, etc)

    Lots of people have suggested that Waze have an option to avoid "bad neighborhoods" or other areas for other reasons, but I understand that it would be very difficult for Waze to do that automatically. For a given city, you usually have to be a local resident to know that you should avoid a certain area in your daily commute.

    So, give each user the option to define avoidance zones in our apps. That way, Waze is not responsible for making that determination, the individual users do it. It could be just a simple polygon drawing function, with a checkbox to avoid the area in routes.

    That way, Waze won't constantly try to send me through the prime carjacking area in my city every time I go home. That would be nice.

15. Show the same traffic animation of the Waze App also on the Livemap

    Every time I watch the traffic around me on the Livemap I'm bothered by the traffic jam indication.

    In the app I like the animation which shows the direction of the traffic jam, the colours and also that the average speed is shown.

    In comparison to that the solution of the Livemap is fairly ugly in my opinion. There are just little lines that vanish from time to time with different zoom levels. They are very pale and have no glowing colours like it's displayed in the app.

    I'd like to see beautiful traffic jam animations within the Livemap.

16. Inserire la possibilità di evitare strade strette a doppio senso

    Purtroppo capita spesso soprattutto in zone periferiche di imbattersi in stradine strette a doppio senso dove magari ci si trova difronte un furgone in salita. Darei la possibilità agli utenti di preferire qualche km in più ma più comodo dal punto di vista della larghezza della carreggiata.

17. Carbon CO2 footprint

    in order to reduce the carbon CO2 footprint it would be nice if you could calculate estimated time not only based on the speed limits and current traffic-load. I.e. set the max speed to 90 km/h will reduce the carbon footprint with almost 30 % on longer trips, you could have this as an individual choice. As example I hade average 4,5 liter per 100 Km on a 330 km drive instead of 6,8 when drive within speed limit 110/120 km/h it take 30 minutes longer but it´s much calmer and less stress.

18. Ztl

    good morning, the suggestion concerns waze on android auto. if the driver does not carry the subject of the ztl permit he must first delete the ztl permit on waze on the phone and reconnect it to android auto. very uncomfortable. waze may ask if the route or destination crosses a ztl zone ask if the configured permission has been used? Thank you

20. Australian School Zones (40kmh) Alert

    In Australia we have School Zones around all schools to ensure the safety of children around schools. In the majority of the Australian states this is a set period of Monday to Friday 8:00am to 9:30am and 2:30pm to 4:00pm. It would be great to create an alert of some sort, during these times and turn off the alert outside these times. Thank You
