When you email users make sure that they can reply
- Allow us to respond in app. 2. Allow us to respond to your email especially since you are asking a question & you want a response. Duh Fix the map issue in Detroit directions to St. Lazarus Serbian church & hall it takes you to an entrance that has never been used. It's locked & always has been. The entrance is around the corner on Van Dyke.

Ability to reply to messages received from users that are not in my Friends list
I sometimes receive a message from a wazer asking about traffic or the weather or police and I would like to be able to respond... after all we are a community, are we not?

Simplify Wazer and Editor workflow for residential places
The current method for a wazer to add their home to the map is confusing and creates more work for waze map editors. The workflow for a wazer is similar to this:
Wazer selects the yellow triangle (if it's displayed on their map)
Next selects "Place"
(now it is about to get really confusing)
Wazer must take a picture
The next screen says "Select Place" with a text field that says "Enter Place name".

Improve your UI for submitting map issues
This is both in the Waze phone app and in the Map editor. When submitting a map issue, the text box is very small and not obvious. It's barely visible so it's easy to miss and only select the issue and hit send.
In the map editor, when replying to a comment about a map issue, the Done button is big a blue and the Send button is small and grey. It's very easy to spend a few minutes typing a reply then hitting Done instead of Send and therefore losing the entire message.You should really work on…

Accessibilité à la carte
Bonjour,
Après avoir fait une recherche, apparaissent la carte et des pop-up avec les différents ces hoix. Ces pop-up rendent dificile l'accès à la carte pour faire son choix. Il est plus simple de cliquer sur chaque trajet pour en connaitre les détails.
Je suggère de supprimer ces pop-up qui n'apportent rien au choix de la navigation.

Ability to block users/private messages from certain users
You should be able to block certain users or, if this already possible, it should be made obvious how to do so.
I am repeatedly getting private messages from the same non-friend user. I can't reply to the messages or see who this person is, yet he is somehow repeatedly finding me. It does not make me feel secure and I shouldn't have to turn off private messaging entirely just to avoid one weirdo.
(Also, make turning off private messaging actually work because I got another one from him today somehow, even though I turned them off.)

Please make the inbox reply’s input box bigger on the iPhone. Since it is currently just one line, it is hard for me to see and scroll up and down to review and input the rest of my entered reply

Ability to set an Editor Email
I've already seen this suggestion https://waze.uservoice.com/forums/59225-map-editor-suggestions/suggestions/41506807-ur-reply-via-email but I thought this would be a nice compromise.
Let editors set an Editor Email in WME, that becomes the reply-to address on report emails (for those who don't know: there is a difference between the reply-to and sent email address). The sent email can be changed to something like userreports@waze.com and then the editor can just receive the reply to their editor email.
Just to clarify, by editor email, I mean our own email addresses we already have for editing related things (e.g. deviatefromtheplan.waze@gmail.com), rather than Waze creating…3 votes -
Give editors a method to quickly jump to a chat response from another editor
I literally have thousands of editors that I have chatted with and when one replies, I can see the icon in the top right of my editor screen tells me I have a reply. But to get to it, I must scroll through hundreds (or thousands) of other editors to find the response. Could you make it so I could jump directly to that response?
These are new editors and it's important that we are quick in our response to them.

Add option allowing your URs to be posted under your username (not anonymoulsy)
It has been said numerous time that due to private data protections, URs are always posted anonymously.
However, many editors use the UR system as a mean to "take notes" of problems during a trip, and then will correct deal with those UR when on WME after the trip.
However, those URs are always marked as anonymous on WME and other editors often start to reply those UR not knowing that those were done by other fellow editors. This leads to a lost of time, since those UR should be considered as "already watched by another editor".

I could reply to the 5 emails I received stating that the directions to my house were fixed. When in fact, they have not been fixed. I can't reply to say, no, it hasn't been fixed. I have wasted far too much time trying to get the directions to my house fixed. I am old and can't figure out how to fix it and apparently neither can anyone else.

Fix the gas price functionality by adding additional shortcuts to update gas station prices and automatically remove old data
The current method of adding gas prices is apparently too hard for many Wazers to find. Editors are constantly receiving PURs regarding incorrect and out of date gas prices. I have three recommendations for where to add a shortcut:
- Add a button to the page that shows all of the gas stations near your location.
- Add a button on the gas station's info page right below the listed prices.
- If a user is located within the gas station area, give a popup (like when Waze detects a traffic jam).

Persistence of Pothole Reports
Potholes persist until repaired. Pothole reports should persist until consistent replies with “not there”. If the majority of people are confirming, then allow the pothole report to persist (edited from “until someone reports “not there”)

Option to disable new message pop-up
Can you please give users the option to disable the pop-up when opening the app?
Active editors will look at replies to their messages while are editing the map.
Busy editors will reply to dozens of URs every day, and this pop-up is guaranteed to show every single time we open the app.

Things to fix...
1. Allow more details when reporting a map issue, not just a button to report with no info. If there is a way to type in info, its not obvious or maybe we need an option to go back and add details before hitting report.
2. When sending an email to users asking for more info, tell them exactly how to do it, form letters or copy and paste are really easy.

Emergency and Hospitals
When someone is searching for hospitals or emergency services, it would be helpful if Waze didn't reply with questions about who is driving and other questions.
