recycling Feature
Dear Waze, I am a sixth grader at Spring Creek Elementary in Dallas, Texas. My robotics team and I are working on our project for the First Lego League City Shaper season. The goal of the project this season is to somehow improve our city. We are acknowledging that the world is having a hard time recycling. Change font size on search results
When you enter a search the first summary line is <- Your location (in large font) -> address (in small font) The small font is hard to read (especially for those of us who need glasses for reading but not driving). It makes much more sense to have the "Your location" in small font (or not there at all because it is always the same text) and the desired address in the largest font possible on the screen

integrate into Android Auto?
Good day guys. Just a quick one. Please can you guys have a look to integrate this awesome app into Android Auto? This is new technology that many car makers are starting to use and they only make use off Google maps. This app displays your mobile navigation on the vehicle's multimedia head unit. Select initial driving direction
I wanted to suggest this idea but found it was suggested already six years ago but for some reason, this simple but important feature has not yet been implemented.
So I’m quoting the original request someone sent in 2018:Very often Waze starts up navigation facing the wrong driving direction. The direction is rectified as the vehicle starts moving, but it can be too late for the initial turn.
Please add the ability to switch driving direction when navigation starts, via a button.

Still there and Not there buttons should stay for longer.
The "Still there" and "Not there" buttons should saty a little bit longer. By the time you go near and and be able to see the buttons are gone, especially when there other vehicles in front of you and can't see in time.

Would like to see a alert option for MTO enforcement.
Similar on how to report police, would be nice to be able to report mto commercial vehicle enforcement. Also would be nice to be able for the reporting wazer to be able to move reporting postion, often it ends up not being accurate.

Routes designated for horse lorries
It would be great if you had a designated section for routes for horse lorries or any lorries. The if this section is selected it navigates suitable routes/roads for these types of vehicles!

Fix the speed display
I rely on the speed limit and vehicle speed showing up on the screen (I use Apple Play in my vehicles). However, recently, it is not showing, although the setting is still set to display it.

Graves rd in acworth Georgia is a 25mph neighborhood road. All kinds trucks and gov vehicle snd other vehicles from neighborhood speed
Reroute traffic around neighborhood which is just as easy and avoid children being hit by idiots passing through doing 55mph in 25 mph zone. Graves road acworth ga. Instead make people take cedarcrest rd which is a rd that doesn't pass through neighborhood

A way to take a picture of slow left lane drivers
Waze users take pictures of slow left-hand lane drivers. Then multiple pictures of the same slow vehicle in the left lane would notify law enforcement.

Emergency route
Hello! We want a development that makes it easier for ambulances, firefighters, and police officers to respond to an accident. The vehicle category should be selectable for vehicles with distinctive markings, so that they can approach the site by the shortest route. You can also enter streets where it is forbidden to drive in or except with a permit.

Add road closures when not on a route
Android and Car Play do not let you mark road closures while driving. In large cities, WAZE is often inaccurate because of the number of event road closures that go unreported. Please add a feature to add road closures for non-drivers and off-route drivers in large cities.

airborn police
In addition to an alert for police vehicles that are mobile - it would be nice for some kind of an alert for airborn police. I was traveling a week ago and spotted what was most likely an police airplane but there was no useful way to report it.

I would like to know when a bicycle or a motorbike is at a close distance from me, treated as a hazard
When I ride my bike I would like to let Waze know that I am a hazard to other drivers. Other drivers would be warned when I am close to them. Alternatively, as a car driver, I would like to be able to activate a mode that warns me about bicycles and motorcycles. I think this idea would reduce the number of accidents involving bicycles and motorbikes. This can be extended to other vehicles on the road like tractors, oversized transport vehicles...

Add some ai smarts to Waze in its route planning concerning road steepness and car loading condition
I had to drive over Homestake Pass (an engine and transmission destroyer) in Montana while driving an old and overloaded car in July 2023. Your navigation program needs to have alternative routes built into it to choose from that are easier on a vehicle. I suggest you build that into the route planning. Use embedded AI if need be. If your software could ask the age and condition of the vehicle, it could using that information, suggest less troublesome routes. Am fortunate to be able to improvise. Ambulance
Good morning. Thank you for your application. I have a suggestion. I am a paramedic and like many paramedics we use your application to respect speed limits and pay attention to control zones. Would it be possible to add an ambulance vehicle and if possible a quickest route for the ambulances taking into account the size of the ambulances. Thank you in advance for considering my proposal.

Integrate a bus and truck option
Add a bus option next to the already existing car, taxi and motorcycle option and let us adjust the weight, height, speed, width and length of the vehicle
Theres hardly any mainstream gps that has a function like this

Incorrect Symbol in HUD and Widget for Roundabouts via Android Auto
Issue: Incorrect Symbol in HUD and Widget for Roundabouts via Android Auto
Vehicle: Smart #3 Brabus
Phone: OnePlus 13
Problem: When using Waze through Android Auto, roundabouts show incorrect navigation symbols in the car’s HUD and media widget. This does not happen in Google Maps.
The main screen shows correct instructions, but the HUD and widget display incorrect icons — often showing wrong turn direction or exit.
Please verify if the Android Auto metadata (like NavigationTemplate or TripInfo) is being sent correctly by Waze for HUD integration.4 votes
