Improve ways to report your own hazard in your vehicle
, slow moving vehicle option for yourself when you are having your own hazard. We had a problem on the New Jersey Turnpike where are trailer that our boat was sitting on was breaking so we had to drive 10 to 15 miles an hour to get safely to the next exit. I wanted to post slow moving vehicle as a hazard but there was no option. So I kept posting Hazard on the road vehicle on the road and then I typed in slow-moving vehicle. And I kept doing that every mile or so then Waze wanted to…

Large buttons, not list style
With the Waze beta version on Android Auto, I really dislike how some options are in list form or with small icons.
eg: when I try to post that there is a stopped vehicle on the shoulder, I like the large layout of how the Hazards are displayed. I dislike that the proceeding options are in a list: that sometimes need to be scrolled. It is hard to press on these accurately, especially when driving.

Allow me to select the position of the vehicle cursor or icon.
Allow me to select the position of the vehicle cursor or icon on the map manually. Currently the Vehicle icon or cursor is only positioned in the middle of the map when in landscape mode and only at the bottom of the map in portrait mode. I would like to be able to manually select the ideal position on the map for the vehicle icon. Or allow options like top, middle or bottom of page.
This will really assist when in landscape mode.5 votes -
Add Shortcut to "Vehicle Stopped On Side of Road"
I found a post from 2016 asking for this and it still hasn't been implemented!
There should be a shortcut on the navigation screen to send a "Vehicle Stopped on Shoulder" report with a single click.
This is, by far, the most common type of report and it currently requires FIVE button presses - all of them while looking down at the screen. A user-configurable single-click report button would be even better, but a "Vehicle Stopped On Shoulder" button would be a massive improvement to the current 5-clicks.
This has been suggested many, many times over the past…

Allow me to delete the hazard "Vehicle stopped on shoulder" without deleting all hazards
You need to be able to split which road hazards you want or don't want. I would kill to be able to stop being told about a vehicle on the shoulder but still be able to know about other hazards. Seriously, if the vehicle is on the shoulder it isn't a hazard.

Heavy traffic: "make a corridor for emergency vehicle access"
Hello,
in some countries it is mandatory to make a corridor for emergency vehicle access (According to Wikipedia: Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary and Germany) when you are stuck in heavy traffic. Although there are a lot of campaigns on building a "Rettungsgasse" in Germay, a lot of people still don't do it, potentially endangering the life of the victims of accidents.
I suggest adding the recommendation to form this corridor to the alert for heavy traffic and standstill.
Cheers

For Vehicle Type Motorcycle
When selecting Motorcycle as vehicle type would it be possible to disable the on screen user interactive prompts/warnings for pot holes/vehicle on shoulder etc etc as responding to these is not a safe and viable option. just an audio warning would be sufficient with no response required from the rider

Suggestion to add 'vehicle stopped in lane' in the 'hazard on road' option.
I often encounter vehicles stopped in the lane on the interstate as well as the surface streets. It would be helpful to have an option to report that hazard just as you can report a vehicle stopped on the side of the road. This would definitely help drivers so that they are aware and prepared for that hazard.
138 votesGreat news! The option to report a stalled vehicle is now available in Waze. Install the latest app version to check it out.

3D Touch menú to change vehicle type
I love motorcycle mode. Half the time I'm on the motorcycle, half the time I'm in a car. I wish there was a 3D Touch menu to change vehicle type because I'm changing from car to motorcycle many times a week.
2 votesThank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze already has an ability to easily switch between Motorcycle and Car mode.
On iOS simply click on your car arrow to open the switch vehicle type menu. On Android you can do same, or you can call out this menu by clicking “Car info” at the bottom of the screen. -
Vehicle mode selection when confirming route
I am aware there is a motorcycle mode in settings, however like many others, I often switch between motorcycle and car, it would be really handy to have a button or drop down menu to chose the vehicle type when selecting your route rather than having to go into settings each time.

Define better routes based on vehicle type
EN
Good afternoon, how are you?First I would like to congratulate everyone for the excellent solution, what a fantastic technology built that allows the WAZE APP to bring countless benefits to all types of drivers.
But you know that the more technology to make life easier, the dumber the users become and because of this I realize that in the day to day traffic, many people without proper experience doing a lot of shaving and because of that, I would like to suggest some improvements to the solution/technology.
Problem: I currently live in a historic city where many of…
