Adding Traffic signals to the map or giving the option to avoid signals or not
Will there ever be an update that gives you the option to avoid traffic signals or not or possibly show traffic signals on the map? Many times in order to save time. It routes me to a block with no traffic signal at forces me to make a left onto a busy intersection, which sometimes is very dangerous. I’d much rather wait at a traffic light which I end up having to do anyway, in order to make the left when the traffic stops.

Are you in traffic?
When the system asks if you are in traffic?? you can answer yes or no. For the amount of times that you have stopped for a coffee or gas and there is no traffic...instead of the system assuming you are and then saying that "First street" is at a standstill...make the automatic answer no, then if we are we can answer yes. I think this will reduce the fake high traffic areas people complain about

Please add stop lights.
Please add stop lights. They help when I'm not driving on the highway and especially when I'm driving in the city. I count how many stop lights I have so I know exactly where to turn and don't feel consistently lost.

Drag racing on Honeycutt Road, Cumberland County, Fayetteville NC
At certain hours (at dusk and when it’s dark), there are drag racers that frequent HoneyCutt Road in Cumberland County and on the Fort Liberty side as well. They frequent this road, because there are no traffic lights after the one by Simmons Airfield. Those individuals will ride your bumper and speed around you. Whenever there have been accidents they’re usually severe due to high speed. So people need to be aware. Department of Transportation are very much aware of this ongoing issue and they have done nothing to install additional traffic lights as that would cut down on the…

report generation to local authorities
It would be a great feature if a master report could be generated daily in major metropolitan areas indicating reports by Wazers regarding potholes, faulty traffic lights etc so that these can be repaired quickly. Alternatively, a program could be made avaliable to them wherby they can monitor selected reports witin their city and dispatch officers or repair crews to sort ouy the problems. This could also be a great Waze marketing tool.

End traffic jam automatically
Have Waze detect when you've been traveling close to the speed limit for a while and mark the point you starting driving faster as the end of the traffic jam.

Improvement to avoiding difficult intersections
I use the "Avoid Difficult Intersections" in the app but am still often taken to very busy main roads to turn right without traffic lights. I drive every day doing rideshare work & this is a constant issue for me.

Enable drawing polygon areas Where Closures Cannot Be Applied
Use-case:
There is a bridge under construction where only one direction is open at a time, controlled by traffic lights. Currently, Waze often shows it as closed, even though cars are just waiting for the light to change.
Proposal:
Add a feature in WME to draw a polygon-shaped area where closures cannot be applied — useful for cases like temporary one-lane bridges with traffic lights, where Waze should display a queue instead of a closure.

Cross Regional roads at lights
Sometimes Waze navagates a route which requires me to cross a busy regional road without lights. I would like a setting option of "Cross or do left turns on busy streets at lights where possible"

Better traffic updates
There’s needs to be a better explanation when putting a traffic update on the map. Putting that there’s a traffic jam or standstill traffic doesn’t help. Needs to have a better explanation with the traffic update in order for it to be put on the map. Why is traffic being held up?!! Is construction or an accident.

2 ideas for routing
Have an option to base economic routes on the cars MPG. It would basically be googles econ route but made tailored to your MPG rather than on car average. Another thing would be to add traffic lights and stop signs to account for on the trip.

I would love to see the ability to plot a holiday lights display on the map.
I'd like o be able to plot the great holiday lights displays in my area so I can tell other Wazers about them. Additionally one could have Waze plot a lights tour path to follow.

Rettungsgasse / Rescue Lane - Reminder while traffic jams
In Germany and most European countries, you are supposed to form a rescue lane whilst being in a traffic jam on a highway/Autobahn.
This emergency corridor is always between the very left lane and the one next to her, so all cars need to move to the very left / very right on those lanes, making enough space to let emergency vehicles through.
After several incidents where people died after emergency services being stuck in the traffic jam, the German government wants to increase the sentence on ppl not making space for the rescue lane.My Suggestion:

Have voice speak "Heavy" or "Moderate" or "Standstill" traffic ahead.
Need to have verbal notification of heavy, moderate and standstill traffic ahead. Not safe to look down at phone to see traffic ahead

Traffic Signal Integration
This is a huge undertaking but would be an awesome feature. Waze would have the ability to know when traffic signals are red and green based on Wazers. It can detect a Wazer ahead is stopped at an intersection, and can warn others behind that the signal is Red. This may also impact ETAs as well. In high volume cities like LA, this would be a feasible idea especially during rush hour. However, it may not be realistic at times of lower volume. This could save time, allow for smarter decisions, save gas, and be greener for the entire world!

Alternative feature for traffic jam bar
The traffic jam bar is automatically shown in the portrait WAZE map view mode but it can't be automatically shown in the landscape WAZE map mode. Actually, this bug is already exist in the previous WAZE GPS app versions & had ever reported to the WAZE support team.
You can witness this bug when in navigation mode & the WAZE map is rotated from portrait view mode to landscape view mode & vice versa.
Perhaps a countdown timer, say to be placed either beside the speedometer or beside the orange reporting traffic/hazard type button, showing the elapsing estimated time…
