1. Police camera ≠ police report

   In some countries, it is not allowed to drive with an app giving the exact locations of police cameras (automatic speed control), waze intelligently gives the area where the police cameras are (very useful alert and the utilization of waze is allowed).
   But to fight the concept of the "area" most of drivers post a police location each time they pass beside a police camera (I have observed it, a police camera in Paris France is reported every 15 min, sometime several times).
   Consequence : waze gives the exact location of each police cameras everyday, every time.
   The problem is when authorities will discover this detail... They will blacklist waze and alll wazers will be punished (the police fine in France when a driver uses a prohibited GPS/app cost $1600 and at the second police fine the driver looses the right to drive)

   Because a police report to alert a police control inside a control area is useless. Because, in some countries, the utilization of waze becomes illegal when a police report is posted inside a control area, is it possible to do not give the capability to post a police location inside a control area? (To be honest, it is really not complicated to respect the speed limit during 1 or 2 miles)

   A police location could be posted everywhere outside these areas and no police camera would be precisely located

   Waze is my favorite app when I drive, I want to keep the right to use it.

3. waze improvements

   Hi, I would like to suggest some improvements.
   1. once the address has been entered, the navigator should immediately start without selecting <via> + <partenza> so as not to waste time (in case you need to add buttons to the side to be pressed within 2 seconds).
   2. I don't understand if the favorites are in order of insertion, distance but they should be in alphabetical order or with the possibility of user choice
   3. report speed cameras, patrols and dangers with a strong audio signal even if the speed limits are not exceeded
   4. do not interrupt the journey when you arrive at your destination because many times you arrive but there is no parking and you have to go back and re-enter your destination so as not to get lost.

   Yes, the title is clickbait. But that really is the end goal!

   Let’s get straight to the point: UserVoice has done an excellent job of centralizing Waze community suggestions in a tool specifically designed for that purpose. However, after years of cumulative use, it has become clear that managing it has grown increasingly difficult.

   And now, entering the scene: Discuss.

   Discuss has opened up a whole new range of possibilities for community interaction. It is a technically modern platform, with a pleasant user experience and strong functional versatility.

   There is no doubt that Discuss is capable of absorbing all the functions currently handled by UserVoice. Every feature available in UserVoice can find an equivalent within Discuss.

   Voting, reactions, comments, categories, tagging, listings, sorting, posting — everything you can do in UserVoice is also available in Discuss.

   Automatic translation? New post notifications? Tables? Emojis? Permalinks? User avatars and badges? AI-generated topic summaries? User permission levels? Bookmarking favorites?

   Discuss has it all. Sometimes it really feels like Discuss was designed for exactly this purpose.

   Beyond feature parity, Discuss also offers practical advantages. For example, posting an image in UserVoice requires pasting a link to an external file — just like in the old forum days. Discuss allows direct uploads.

   Defending a suggestion requires much more than words. Images and videos, for example, can be extremely helpful in presenting a concept in a far more compelling way.

   Moderation and content management are also native strengths of Discuss. Moving or hiding comments, splitting or merging topics, and issuing user warnings are built-in capabilities, with clear operational advantages.

   From a platform perspective, centralizing users within the Discuss environment — with unified login and content hosted under the Waze umbrella — is both technically sound and timely. It also encourages user recirculation, increasing the chances that someone who submits a suggestion will engage with ongoing discussions, and vice versa. On top of that, it’s simply more convenient, more robust, and better looking.

   At this point, only a few minor adjustments would be needed, such as creating a screen to encourage users to search for similar suggestions before posting, and adding tags to indicate the status assigned by the staff. Nothing that can’t be done.

   This isn’t about shutting down UserVoice. It’s about building a single, modern home for feedback, discussion, and collaboration — where ideas don’t just get submitted, they get shaped.

5. Prioritize Full CarPlay Integration: HUD & Instrument Cluster Directions

   Hello Waze Team,

   This post is to strongly urge the prioritization of full integration with Apple CarPlay to enable turn-by-turn navigation on built-in Head-Up Displays (HUD) and digital instrument clusters.

   This remains one of the most critical safety and convenience features missing from Waze, and it's a primary reason why many drivers reluctantly switch to Apple Maps when using CarPlay.

   The Technical Framework Exists

   We understand that enabling this feature is entirely possible within Apple's provided framework. The process is initiated by implementing the mapTemplateShouldProvideNavigationMetadata(_:) delegate method. By returning true from this function, Waze can signal to CarPlay that it is ready to supply the necessary navigation metadata for the car's native screens.

7. Integration with AAIdrive

   As the author of AAIdrive, an open-source app that adds some custom apps to the legacy BMW iDrive system, my users keep asking for integration with their favorite apps, and Waze is very popular indeed!    Coming back the old function of add favorite places... with touch in the street or place and add in favorite. The option now is worst because I have many places with unnamed roads and only way to add him in favorite os put his address but that is imposible... for this reason from this changes I back to tomtom.     I work at one location on M-W-F and another on T-Th. It would me nice to be able to add more than one "work" favorite.

12. Proximity routing for Home/Work

    Many people use waze on a daily basis as a way to avoid traffic. We know how to get home or to work, and sometimes our work places have multiple entrances. These entrances don't always trigger waze that you have arrived, so even once I'm in the building, suddenly I hear waze trying to route me through the office hallways from my pocket.....

    A new feature called "proximity routing" that the user can enable for their "home/work" locations would take care of this problem. Once the driver gets close, waze would indicate you have arrived and go into sleep mode. Alternatively, the sleep could be delayed until the external power source is removed, and thus waze can use that to mark where you parked.

    I say home/work as the application of the feature as they are the most common usages, but there's nothing stopping the addition of a per-destination setting for favorite locations or when putting in a route to enable "proximity routing" for that trip.

13. Allow users to type in names of their favorite retailers, restaurants, gas stations, and more

    I would like Waze to notify me of my favorite retailers, gas stations, restaurants and other things along my drive regardless of where I am driving and without me having to search for them and add them as a favorite. If I could have an area in the app where I could type my favorite places in once and then Waze is always searching and notifying me of them as I drive this would be a huge convenience. Example: I choose Chick-fil-A as a restaurant, then whenever I am driving ways notifies me of all Chick-fil-A's within 5 miles of my current location or my route. Another Example: I choose Publix grocery store as a favorite place, then Waze notifies me of any Publix within 5 or 10 miles of my current location or along my current route. Please add this functionality to the Waze App!! Thank you.

14. Indicate the speed limit on each portion in addition to the speedometer. Indicate the time or the last wazer to borrow the same road.

    Save favorite places on the internet account, it avoids recreating when changing phone.

    Thank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze already displays a speedometer, including both your driving speed and the speed limit for the road you’re currently on.

15. Automatically put on voice when something is different from the regular

    usually when you drive everyday the same road you put only the voice on silence expect attentions because i know the way buy heart. Because waze supposed to learn my favorite way to work i would like to suggest that if something happen on the regular way and there is a change on the route that the instructions will be with voice even that i chooze not to. because otherwize i can miss the change and go automatically the regular way.

17. Favoris / liste d'adresse

    le point est.. les favoris !!

    Je souhaite vraiment attirer votre attention sur cela... utilisant intensivement Waze tout les jours, je voudrais me permettre de vous faire la suggestion suivante..

    la liste des favoris reste une liste de favoris.. mais pas une liste d'adresse usuelle.... ce qui à pour consequence qu'on y rajoute rapidement les/des adresses fréquemment utilisées ou un peu moins mais que l'on souhaite garder en mémoire, sans pour autant pouvoir mettre en évidence les adresses vraiment favorite, celle qu'on utilise très souvent...

    d'où ma suggestion de laisser une liste d'adresse avec une partie vraiment favoris, en évidence, de moins de 5 ou 10 adresse par exemple plus facile d'accès de sorte qu'on puisse les choisir de manière rapide...

    parce qu'a l'heure actuelle, rechercher une adresse en conduisant ( je sais.. c'est pas bien !!) dans la liste complète des favoris c'est vite compliqué..!!

    voilà, j'espère que je verrai bientôt un petit update avec ça sur waze ;-)

    Pour le reste, merci !! à toute les équipes de Waze, pour le boulot que vous faites, merci pour le temps que vous nous faites gagner, continuez comme ça, je pense qu'il ya de plus en plus de wazers sur nos route et ça c'est que du bon...

    le point est.. les favoris !!

    Je souhaite vraiment attirer votre attention sur cela... utilisant intensivement Waze tout les jours, je voudrais me permettre de vous faire la suggestion suivante..

    la liste des favoris reste une liste de favoris.. mais pas une liste d'adresse usuelle.... ce qui à pour consequence qu'on y rajoute rapidement les/des adresses fréquemment utilisées ou un peu moins mais que l'on souhaite garder en mémoire, sans pour autant pouvoir mettre en évidence les adresses vraiment favorite, celle qu'on utilise très souvent...

    d'où ma suggestion de laisser une liste d'adresse avec une partie vraiment favoris, en évidence,… more

19. Saved locations in the map

    Would be great to have an option to display saved locations in the map...for example my favorite restaurants,shops or POI close to my current location....I love waze
