Ability to change road speed limit
Around schools and some residential roads the speed limit is 20mph, map still shows old 30mph speed limit

Speed camaras and speed bumbs
Your new icon for speed cameras is not very visible, it is too small and the blue colour is exactly as the route ahead when you are following a route on dark mode, night mode. It does not really help at all.
Your speed bumps alert is too much and very annoying, in London every single street, road has speed bumps, nearly all of them. I don't see the point in alerting about it so often and repeatedly all the time. The speed bumbs icon it more visible and alerting in size and colours than the speed cameras icon…2 votes -
Average speed zone label covers up the speed limit
When you enter an average speed zone, the green bar on the left appears. Also a label appears at the bottom showing what distance the zone covers. Annoyingly this label covers up the current speed limit badge, so you can't see what the limit is until the label disappears or moves up far enough.

Speed bump notification
Please can you make speed bumps in a different category so it can be turned off without removing the rest of the hazards. Living in London means I get a speed bump notification every 5 seconds and it’s very distracting when driving. Thanks, Josh

When you driving on a average speed zone
When you driving on a average speed zone than your left green panel what is showing the distance from average speed zone should show the speed too and the panel should change to red if the speed is more than the allowed average speed Also it should check the speed between one camera to the second one and not just from the first and last camera

Speed cameras / radars notifications on iOS CarPlay only over speed limit.
Hi there,
I live in Dubai, where you can go up to 20km/h over the speed limit before the speed camera / radar actually jumps. There is a speed camera / radar each kilometer, so the amount of alerts you get on the CarPlay display is HUGE.
Also, I saw that you can configure Waze to inform about the speed limit on different speeds and level, like "+5km/h" or similar.
I would like to suggest the same regarding the speed camera / radar alerts, as I want to get informed but only when / if I go over a…

Police speed trap trends
Instead of only showing current police speed traps, have a toggle options for where police tend to sit and wait. "police hot zone" kind of idea. "police have been reported at this time for the last three days" kind of warning. This will not only help avoid tickets, but get people to slow down in the more "dangerous" areas

Mobile speed camera
You should add the capabilities to report Mobile speed camera and in Waze editor, to add the zone length and be alerted when entering this zone from any street.

drive the speed limit alerts when cutting through a neighborhood
Waze sends lots of drivers through my neighborhood when traffic is bad. Most drive over the speed limit and will even pass others who are driving the speed limit. Because you have demonstrated that you do not care about my neighborhood, except as a cut-through, please add a voice alert that will sound when people are using waze to cut through neighborhoods reminding people to drive the speed limit.

Separate the ability to show the posted speed limit from the speedometer.
Currently, the only way to see the posted speed limit, is to toggle on the speedometer. I’m a truck owner that keeps the speedometer toggled off, as the speed that is on my screen is 12 mph faster than I am actually driving. I don’t have the option to see the posted speed limit, because it is grayed out, unless you are “using” the speedometer.

Radar alert with visual speed information
I suggest inserting the speed information into the radar notification. The notification now only reports that there is a radar a few meters ahead, not to mention speed. The radar speeds are all set up in the Waze maps, being information that can be easily extracted. The feature would certainly help many users, even eliminating the use of applications that perform this function. I also recommend that in settings there be options to "always be notified", "be notified only when above speed" or "never be notified." Allowing the user to decide on notifications.

Please let us have the option to show ONLY the speed limit sign.
Please let us have the option to show ONLY the speed limit sign when using with an Android Auto car or stereo unit. Currently, it shows both or only the speedometer with the speed limit sign too small to see easily. When I first start up and I'm parked on a street that has a speed limit, the sign is nice and big. Once moving though, the speedometer shows up and the limit sign shrinks down to where it's hard to see.

Seperate speed limit warning for each vehicle type
Hi Waze team,
I have used Waze while driving motorcycle. But in my opinion, it would be good if we can separate the speed limit for each vehicle type because the speed limit may be different with cars on some roads. Maybe it's a good development route for supporting another type of vehicle like truck for example7 votes -
Time-based Map Topology
In Washington, DC specifically, and in other cities around the United States (and probably around the world), certain turns are illegal between 7:00-9:30 am or 4:00-6:30 pm. More challenging, Rock Creek Park - a major commuter route that is often utilized by Waze - allows southbound traffic only between 7:00-9:30 am on mon-fri, and northbound traffic only between 4:00-6:30 pm on mon-fri. Waze is unable to factor in these restrictions, and becomes of limited usability during these times. Its really frustrating for me, and my partner. Please, please, please fix this? Post the current speed limit when using the speedometer feature.

Sectional speed measurement warning to add info on actual speed limit applicable
So at least in my country (Poland) we have these "sectional speed measurement" areas where instead of on point speed measurement, the average speed is measured along say 10km. The warning currently only warns about approaching the sectional speed measurement but it does not tell you or show the actual applicable speed limit which can be different on different roads and is not unified across the country.

Add "unlimited speed limit" sign for Germany
In Germany, 70% of the highways have to actual speed limit. This is currently idicated by no speed limit sign at all. However, this might also mean that the speed limit is unknown.
Instead, the "unlimited" speed sign could be used that is used in Germany to indicate that no speed limit applies anymore (link to an image: https://www.bussgeldkatalog.org/wp-content/uploads/282.png) This is sign 282.This could be easily accomplished by either adding a checkbox to the editor to set that no speed limit applies, but this might requite some engineering.
