I wish that there was a better way to handle toll roads. I live in an area surrounded by toll roads. It is cost prohibitive to use them all of the time. It is critically necessary to use them at other times. Unfortunately, you can have either of these situations several times in a single day. It is impractical to change the setting to avoid toll roads multiple times in a day. In my mind the best solution would be for us to have a user setting that determines when tollroads would be used. Toll Roads - Certain Toll Roads
Hi
It would be great if we could select certain toll roads that we do and don't want to travel on. In Sydney Australia we have many different toll roads, some offer cash back and most don't, some are distance based toll road and some are fixed price regardless of the length of the road. With the distance based toll roads an entry point a few hundred metres apart can cost you a couple of dollars every trip, multiple that a few trips every day then every week it will quickly add up!!

Toll roads
If user could use settings to set something like "use toll roads if it shortens the time on the road for at least XX minutes" or "use toll road if fuel economy if more then $XX". Waze gives us multiple routs from A to B, sometimes it is better to use toll road, sometimes it cuts only about 5-6 minutes from the trip (or less) - still not the reason to use toll road, too expensive for this outcome. Toll roads
When entering in a destination, please put the toll roads option there instead of in the settings. I am a driver in New York City. All day long, I would need to go into settings and check/uncheck toll roads. When I drive a passenger, of course, all the toll roads are taken, but when returning, I avoid as much as possible. Please change the tolls feature to somewhere when entering in the destination. Thank you

Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2023 and this idea won't be implemented this year.

Differentiate between toll roads and toll bridges
I drive solo in Seattle. I have three options into Seattle from the North: - I -405 (with a toll bridge - 525- across the lake) or 1-405 (with a non toll bridge - via 1-90) and then I-5 with no tolls at all.
Can we have an option for WAZ to differentiate between toll roads and toll bridges - this is because I can still drive the "regular" road on the 1-405 and then take the toll bridge (525) into Seattle, but I don't want WAZ to figure the time for the HOV/T lane...aaaaagh, does that make any…

A great feature would be the possibility to keep toll roads enabled but receive an alert when a route includes that kind of road (toll road)

Toll payments
Waze should inform user of how much the toll is on there planned route ahead of time so user can have the correct amount, with so many people using plastic, such as credit cards and debit cards. Which toll booths don't except I feel this would help people from getting charged for going through the toll with out paying or protect there safety and stop them from flagging down other motorist it ask for change.

Please include the feature which allows the user to know the amount and the number of the toll on the route. It's important for the user to plan the trip and also budget friendly for the middle and lower class users, although it seems impossible to collect data for all the tolls rates. But lettings user to estimate the budget will be the GOAL.

I was using Waze in CarPlay today taking a ride on the PA turnpike. It showed that the toll rates were $22.00. This is the accurate toll price if I was paying cash or using toll by plate where they take a picture of my license plate. But people who have an ezpass pay significantly less than that rate, sometimes 50% less. Could you add an option in the Waze account to show the ezpass toll rate vs the cash rate toll rate? Perhaps a toggle button that you have an expand transmitter.

Display toll price along with Toll Hazard
The idea would be applicable for users approaching toll booths. My suggestion is to display the toll price at the same time the Toll Hazard is displayed.

Variable Toll versus Fixed Toll opton
A lot of users want Waze to add additional features for variable tolls but all I am asking for is for Waze to recoginze the difference between fixed tolls and varaible tolls. I've come to the conclusion that Waze is pretty much unusable for my comute from Falls Church to Herndon, VA becuase it either wants to take me on the unaffordable express lanes OR avoid the reasonable Dulles Toll Road.

Toll Prices
It would be nice if we could have a Toll Prices option. Low-under $3; Med - $3 to $5; High over $5. This could prepare other Wazers for how long they would be in traffic if the toll is too high to take the toll lane. Thank you for considering this option.

Toll off - we might have been fined because we have swich off the tolls on waze and still it have sent us through the tolled route. But i have not noticed we have the country toll card on - which means it is still sening you down to the toll routes. I believe this could be changed and used in diffeent way- may tis be te alert for other to make sure you are not making the same mistake

On the web based live map, be able to see toll prices if the route provided has toll (and the toll pricing information is available already through the app)

CarPlay Toll/Freeway Toggle
I find many times where I'd like to assess the difference between Toll vs Non-Toll or Freeway vs Non-Freeway routes, but there is no easy and safe way to do this while connected to Carplay. Offering a simple accessible toggle for these functions would be extremely valuable!

Variable Toll Rates
Set up one type of feed input so that toll roads can update the variable toll rates in real time.
Understand that worldwide there are many methods companies use for toll rates that change. But Wase should have at least one feed type that can update the variable toll feed so that users can see in real time if it is say $2.00 to use the road or $40.00.

Hungary toll
In Hungary you can have vignette (sticker) for highway for each county separately for the whole year or you can have a vignette for all of the Hungarian highway (the first one is cheaper if you just drive only in some countys). So, it could be very helpful if you could choose which county do you have vignette (not only the possibility to avoid toll) and the program could calculate the trip (where you can use the highway and where no). Split avoid toll roads into avoid toll roads and avoid toll bridges
I live in Lisbon, 2 bridges. Tolled only in 1 direction, south to north. I want to avoid toll roads sometimes but not the tolled bridges.
